Heimdall Power signs new contract in Germany

Pfalzwerke Netz AG has just signed a contract with Heimdall Power to increase observability in their power grid.

The solutions provided by Heimdall Power will also help Pfalzwerke Netz (PWN), to determine power flows in their grid. This new insight will be used to improve the estimation of the state of their 110kV grid. In the larger picture, it means that they now can increase their grid utilization, while at the same time maintain a high level of operational security.

PWN is located in South-West Germany and has supplied the region with safe and sustainable energy for more than 110 years. It is PWN’s mission to supply sustainable and reliable energy to households and businesses, to enable growth and prosperity in the region. With the green transition and increasing amount of renewable energy, new challenges arise in terms of grid operation and supplying households and companies with electricity.

Heimdall Power offers solutions to measure currents and changes in voltage which enables PWN to  determine power flows and enhance operational security.

Heimdall Code of Conduct

The Supplier is to hold and maintain at all times the Heimdall Code of Conduct addressing human rights, worker rights, the environment and corruption.

The Supplier must acknowledge HP’s Code of Conduct in all new contractual arrangements. The Supplier must do this by signing the HP Compliance Letter (exhibit).

The Supplier is obligated to communicate the contents of Compliance Letter (Exhibit) to related entities and subcontractors who support the Supplier in supplying goods, works or services on behalf of HP. This will ensure that subcontractors conduct their business in accordance with the Code of Conduct.

If requested by HP, the Supplier must provide evidence and confirmation of its compliance with the Compliance Letter (Exhibit), including by providing documents and records in support of its compliance.
