We are proud to announce that we have signed a contract with leading Polish DSO PGE Dystrybucja.

PGE Dystrybucja is the biggest DSO in Poland, operating 130 000 kilometers of grid in the southern and south-eastern parts of the country. Going forward, they will soon start using the solutions from Heimdall Power to do thermal ratings, thereby increasing observability in critical parts of their power grid.

By instrumenting key lines with Physical Neurons from Heimdall Power, PGE Dystrybucja is aiming to enhance their operations. This includes ensuring sufficient available capacity in both daily operations and reserves, as well as enabling feed-in of new, renewable energy (solar and wind).

I am convinced that our cooperation will contribute to the introduction of effective solutions optimizing the efficiency of our power grid, increasing energy security and reducing distribution costs. At the same time, I put my hopes in the implementation of future projects to create innovative tools to improve the national energy system.

Heimdall Power CEO, Jørgen Festervoll, commented the new contract in the following manner:

Opening the Polish market with the renowned experts at PGE Dystrybucja is truly a significant moment for Heimdall Power. This expansion is a further testament to our international growth journey, and we are very excited to bring our innovative solutions to such an important market. I’m really looking forward to getting started with this cooperation, deploying our solutions to help PGE Dystrybucja improve their grid operations and reduce costs.
