We are proud to announce that we have signed a contract with leading Polish DSO PGE Dystrybucja.
PGE Dystrybucja is the biggest DSO in Poland, operating 130 000 kilometers of grid in the southern and south-eastern parts of the country. Going forward, they will soon start using the solutions from Heimdall Power to do thermal ratings, thereby increasing observability in critical parts of their power grid.
By instrumenting key lines with Physical Neurons from Heimdall Power, PGE Dystrybucja is aiming to enhance their operations. This includes ensuring sufficient available capacity in both daily operations and reserves, as well as enabling feed-in of new, renewable energy (solar and wind).
PGE Dystrybucja is also investigating how they can utilize Dynamic Line Rating to handle congestions in a more efficient way than they do today. Another objective of the project is to provide added value to industrial customers with different load profiles in terms of conditional attachments.
