We are very pleased to welcome N-ERGIE as a new Heimdall Power customer.
Going forward, the German DSO will implement a significant amount of physical Neurons in their grid, which spans 1.300 kilometers of high voltage lines in the southern regions of the country (north Bavaria) .
In this exciting new development, N-ERGIE will use our physical neurons to operate Heimdall DLR in key areas of their network, thereby improving network utilization.
The deployment of this technology is a part of the company’s long-term strategy, where they have committed to invest around one billion euros to transform its grid and support Germany’s energy transition. Utilizing cutting-edge technology, like the Neurons and software from Heimdall Power, is a good example of how grid transformation can be done in a fast and cost-effective way.
This new project means that Heimdall Power now has a total of ten customers in Germany, including leading utilities like TenneT, Amprion, BayernWerk and Stadtwerke München.
