The German DSO orders more neurons to help monitor key lines in their grid.
With both high summer temperatures and an increasing feed-in of solar power, certain spans in the power grid of SWM Infrastruktur is experiencing significant sag. SWM Infrastruktur is already a Heimdall Power customer since 2021, and operates overhead power lines in the rural surrounding of Munich.
Now, they are taking the next step in their collaboration with Heimdall Power, adding more Neurons to monitor their aforementioned lines. For the German DSO, it is important to monitor these lines, in order to ensure that the distance between the overhead lines and the ground is kept consistently at safe levels.

The solutions from Heimdall Power will make sure that safety levels are kept, by providing insight on key parameters such as line temperature, sag and distance to ground, thereby helping SWM to ensure safe operations across all weather conditions.
SWM Infrastruktur serves customers in the urban area of Munich as well as in the greater Munich and Moosburg area, comprising about 40 local communities.
