Heimdall Power expands leadership team by appointing Brian Berry as CPO

We are proud to announce that Brian Berry will be joining Heimdall Power as Chief Product Officer (CPO), a newly established role in the executive team.

An accomplished and forward-thinking leader, Brian brings over 17 years’ experience in product design and delivery for the energy sector. Notably, he spent two and a half years in a strategic leadership position with Belgium-based Ampacimon, where he gained expertise in power grid optimization tools and solutions.

In 2008, Brian began his career in the utility industry with Eskom, a public utility in South Africa, where he managed a variety of complex studies and projects, all while supporting the system operations control room that powered the entire country.

From there, Brian joined General Electric in Edinburgh, Scotland, where he served as technical lead for the largest Phasor Measurement Unit system in the world at the time (in India), and commissioned several pioneering power system stability control systems in Iceland and throughout the United Kingdom.

In his next role with Reactive Technologies, Brian transformed the GridMetrix inertia measurement service into a scalable, multimillion-pound success story, underscoring his unwavering commitment to innovation and excellence.

Grounded in a strong electrical engineering foundation, Brian’s technical acumen, product management expertise, and agile leadership have already left an indelible mark on the industry. Beyond his professional prowess, he is an accomplished musician, an enthusiast of do-it-yourself projects, and a devoted family man.

Brian Berry is currently on garden leave and will assume CPO duties with Heimdall Power beginning August 1st, 2025.

Heimdall Code of Conduct

The Supplier is to hold and maintain at all times the Heimdall Code of Conduct addressing human rights, worker rights, the environment and corruption.

The Supplier must acknowledge HP’s Code of Conduct in all new contractual arrangements. The Supplier must do this by signing the HP Compliance Letter (exhibit).

The Supplier is obligated to communicate the contents of Compliance Letter (Exhibit) to related entities and subcontractors who support the Supplier in supplying goods, works or services on behalf of HP. This will ensure that subcontractors conduct their business in accordance with the Code of Conduct.

If requested by HP, the Supplier must provide evidence and confirmation of its compliance with the Compliance Letter (Exhibit), including by providing documents and records in support of its compliance.
