You are not limited to single-line monitoring. Our DLR solution can be deployed at the system level using a combination of physical and virtual Neurons, offering comprehensive monitoring of the entire grid.
Data collected from over 40 projects in 17 countries shows an average capacity increase of approximately 40% when implementing Heimdall Power’s DLR solution.
Our autonomous drone system quickly installs Neurons on live power lines, managing both current and voltage while keeping humans at a safe distance. This significantly reduces the risk of line interference.
Enhanced Reliability: Direct measurement of temperature, current, and other key metrics on the line for precise monitoring. Drone-mounted Neurons in critical areas ensure accurate, real-time data collection.
Immediate Results: Trustworthy DLR is available instantly after sensor installation, eliminating waiting time and enabling faster decision-making.
Proactive Management: A 72-hour DLR forecast allows for proactive planning and improved operational efficiency.
Regulatory Compliance: Fully compliant with FERC Order 881. Add our Facility Ratings module for compliance with NERC FAC-008 and consolidate all ratings into one system, simplifying management and ensuring adherence to industry regulations and standards.
Scalable Solution: Easily integrate Heimdall HEALTH services to expand monitoring capabilities and improve asset health management.
Physical Sensor
The Neuron is a robust industrial IoT device for monitoring of high-voltage power lines. Tried and trusted by more than 30 utilities across 16 countries. Fully compliant with FERC Order 881.
Virtual Sensor
Virtual Neurons are software-based sensors that can be quickly deployed to monitor grid capacity, by combining weather and asset data. Fully compliant with FERC Order 881.
Software
Heimdall Cloud is our software for everything from real-time grid monitoring, forecasting and analysis to grid planning and asset health management. Easy to use straight out of the box.
Autonomous Drone System
To ensure safe, fast and scalable deployments of our Physical Neurons, we have developed a patented autonomous drone system for easy installations on live lines.
